  Excellent pass protector with outstanding balance and ability the ability to mimic passers in order to keep them out of the backfield. Hands are strong and he sets and then re-sets in the event of being rocked, sinks his hips in counter-power moves and rarely gets beat by the lines. The pass-protection he provides is among the top in the nation. He has good power when blocking and excels in a wide space. He has good balance and a quick surge to push back defenders, adept at lateralization to seal from the edges. Works to the next level and is able to play until the whistle, good recognition of blitzes. His coaches have praised how he picks up the blocking techniques quickly. Blocks are completed and he displays a toughness and core strength which makes him a great prospect for either the left as well as the right-hand tackle.
  
  While he was a competent left tackle in Syracuse the team, his short arms and less-than-stellar performance at the 2013 Senior Bowl have led many to predict Pugh to shift inside and play guard. Also concerning was a shoulder injury that caused him to miss the initial three games during the 2011 season. If both of those check out, Pugh has plenty of upside and the potential to be just as good as offensive tackle in that draft class.
  
  The Bengals lost a tough start to the season by losing against Chicago Bears but followed that up with cheap mut coins two impressive wins against The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.
