Perhaps this paves the way for much more big gaming companies making pseudo political statements? Lot of larger announcements planned for this week when this somehow doesn't get a peaceful resolution within the upcoming few days. Bringing any focus on the protests helps the protests. Does not matter if they're profiting from it. I couldn't have said it better. Who cares if they stand to gain off it... Which I really don't believe they will profit more than they just didn't say anything. It is quite literally the lack of advertisements. They're especially not holding their event/reveal.
  
  It is advertising. Anything posted to some brand's social media is advertisements. To be fair, this is actually the first I've heard about the reveal. It is now on my radar because of this tweet, so it is still advertising. This isn't doing something though and quite frankly some people have experienced our intelligence insulted way too much with the ton of idiotic fucking"we stand with you through covid" advertisements by firms in recent months. These very same companies who are actively fucking over their employees during this outbreak. Like badly, Amazon of all fucking companies has a God damn covid advertisement with some asshole preaching about how much the business is doing to safeguard it's employees which those who have followed recent events would understand is complete fucking bullshit. It is a damn joke frankly.
  
  EA is the huge corp from the gambling world. They do and say whatever will deliver them greatest profit. Kaepernick refused to stand up during the national anthem which created a chain reaction in the league. These were acts of protest against racial discrimination and the authorities throughout the Donald Trump presidency.
