- How to Use Divine Orbs
You use a Divine Orb just like any other crafting orb in Path of Exile 2. You simply select it and then select the item you want to Path of exile currency apply it to. It'll then reroll all the numeric values of any modifiers on an item.
Divine Orbs only reroll the values of a modifier; they won't change their tier. For example, the T2 "Sprinter's" prefix that adds 15% movement speed to boots will always add 15%. A Divine Orb couldn't upgrade it to the "Cheetah's" T5 prefix that gives 30%. Divine Orbs only reroll the value of modifiers; they don't change their tier.
Divine Orbs do have one unique use case though, and that's in upgrading unique items to their newly buffed versions as of patch 0.1.1. When GGG released the patch, they released several upgrades to unique items. By applying a Divine Orb to any of the several unique items that were impacted, you can start using their new version.
