Overview

  • After making adjustments to my settings However, I noticed some flickering. While I believed it was the fault of my GPU there was a part of WOW TBC Gold me believed that the GPU could be the culprit. In other games where my GPU was being stretched over its limits, I'd be fine. I still do need a new GPU at some point because it's about time for an upgrade. (I had intended to do my GPU upgrade this yet however it's been a while. ...) However I suspect the GPU itself is fine and there are no issues with the hardware.

My issue isn't caused by Windows 10's old DWM, Desktop Window Manager or refresh rate code. This means that when I play WoW on my primary monitor would need to sync its rate to the level that my GPU could do, and it was generally not quite 144 FPS. It would encounter a problem. Because my 2nd monitor was with 144hz, the DWM could cause an increase in brightness as it dropped frames on my primary monitor.

Before when I had my primary running at 144hz and my second one at 60hz, I never noticed because DWM at the time, unnoticed to me it had set both framerates at 60 anyway. There was still flickering at times , but I observed that any solution that fixed it ended up resulting in my in game FPS dropping to 60.

The flicker I saw was reproduced in crafting. When I turned leather scraps into leather I noticed a small flicker after the task was finished. Now , I have all my mods on, which I typically use and am having no problems.

What does a great PC mean? What resolution do you use? Are you using gsync or freesync? Have you capped your fps? What is the resolution of your monitor? It appears that the issue is in your computer. What percentage load is your GPU experiencing while playing? What percentage of load is the core you have that can will amaze you with the power of your CPU during gaming?

I had issues with raid a couple of weeks back for a couple of weeks consecutively while I was trying out the addons and switching them off. My problem was resolved by turning off details streaming (I think that's what it's referred to as, but I'm not in the computer at the moment).

Rivatuner should be turned off. It caused the game freeze but not slowing down. I'm using the in-game fps cap instead now, but there are times when I have Stuttering. I'm guessing that it's due to add-ons. it's more common when I have multiple clients running, like every 10-20 seconds.

This is a long shot, but I'm seeking some one or a few people to play Classic TBC with. I was a regular retail player, but most of my friends stopped playing. I switched to Classic and am now as in a state of loneliness. It's hard without CRZ. Still, I enjoy Mankrik Horde. I'm just trying to determine if someone is out there searching for a new friend and might want to play with me. I play various PC games however I would want to cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold have a WoW friend or friends since I've gotten my characters set up. I prefer to use discord voice chat
