• Today's FC26 Daily News Brief covers new Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), Goalkeeper Evolutions, the highly anticipated TOTW 4 squad leak, and the latest on the Haaland Player of the Month award.

  
  SBCs and Evolutions: Must-Do and Skip

  We have two new SBCs available today:

  The first is the Turner Basic Squad SBC, featuring an NWSL forward. This card is 82 OVR and costs only about 6,000 FC 26 coins, making it nearly free. However, Turner’s stats are quite average (3-star Skill Moves, 3-star Weak Foot, 86 Pace, 84 Shooting, 85 Dribbling). Given the low chemical value of NWSL cards unless they are very strong, it is advised to skip this one.

  The other SBC is the routine Tuesday pack grind challenge: the 80+ $\times$ 5 Player Pack. It requires an 82-rated squad and one 84-rated card. As this is the typical weekly pack SBC, it is considered a must-do.

  In terms of Evolutions, a free Silver PlayStyle Goalkeeper Evolution is now available. It is restricted to 82 OVR goalkeepers and adds a PlayStyle—recalled to be Cross Claimer. If you have an 82 Gold goalkeeper with good chemistry, such as Vicario of Tottenham, you may want to use this free upgrade.

  
  TOTW 4 Squad Leak: King Haaland and a High-Value Sleeper

  The full lineup for the new Team of the Week (TOTW 4), set to release tomorrow (Wednesday), has been leaked. The quality of cards this week is significantly better than the previous week.

  Erling Haaland is unequivocally the TOTW Card King for this week, and his Black Card is expected to be extremely expensive.

  Several other players in the leaked squad are also drawing attention:

  •  Moisés Caicedo: His official stats are out, showing his Pace at 74, which is considered slow for a central midfielder. He does, however, receive a Gold Power Shot PlayStyle, and his other stats are 80 or above. Due to his high overall rating and slow Pace, he’s a bit awkward—neither an ideal Evolution prospect nor a truly top-tier immediate starter.

  •  Folarin Balogun: The Inter Milan forward boasts 92 base Pace and excellent chemistry (French/Inter Milan). Crucially, his overall rating is only 81. This makes him a high-potential "sleeper" card, great for immediate use or as a future Evolution candidate, and his card is not expected to be cheap.

  • Other notable players include Dias, Bruno Guimarães, and Jordi Alba, who provides a valuable chemistry link to Messi.

  
  Haaland POTM SBC Prediction

  The good news is that Haaland’s win as the Premier League Player of the Month (POTM) has been officially confirmed. His POTM SBC is anticipated to launch soon, possibly within the next couple of days.

  Given his 91 OVR TOTW card is already priced around 500,000 FC 26 coins, it's predicted that EA will set his POTM card at 91 OVR (to avoid an overly expensive 92 OVR). The SBC's predicted cost is around 550,000 to 600,000 FC 26 coins, slightly higher than his TOTW card, likely justifying the cost with minor stat increases and a different PlayStyle.
