If you’re into the “launch it and let it do the work” sort of minion build, this is right up your alley. Your first copy is usually an early quest reward. In PoE, certain skill gems are tied to specific quests – for something intelligence-heavy like SRS, the Witch typically sees it as an option after the first few steps in Act 1, maybe right after Hillock’s down.
  
  If you’re rolling another class, don’t stress. Once any character on your account completes the quest that dishes out the gem, you can grab extras from a vendor for pocket change, often just an Orb of Transmutation or a few Scrolls of Wisdom. It’s quick, easy, and worth doing early – even more so if you already keep an eye on PoE 2 Currency for your build planning.

  When people say “farm” in the context of Raging Spirits, they’re not talking about camping some rare mob. In PoE, farming a gem usually means running multiple copies to max level. You want them cooking quietly in your weapon swap slots – PoE lets you hold two weapon sets and swap between them, and gems in the unused set still soak up some XP, about 10% of what you earn. This setup means you can push five or six gems at the same time without actively casting them. It’s passive progress, great for builds that already have you juggling other skills while your skulls do the heavy lifting.

  The big payoff comes when those gems hit level 20. That’s when you can slap a Vaal Orb on them – corruption in PoE is basically a high-risk roll of the dice. A corrupt might drop it to level 19, keep it as-is, or give you what you’re hoping for: a bump to level 21. That single extra level can make a real dent in your kill speed, so every gem you’ve been leveling is another chance to win that upgrade. Sure, sometimes you get unlucky, but that’s PoE’s charm – you grind, you gamble, and eventually, you score.

  If you’re serious about squeezing every last bit of damage out of your skull army, you’ll want to start this routine early. Complete that first quest, buy a stack of fresh SRS gems, load them into your second weapon set, and forget about them until they ding 20. By the time you’re deep into maps, you’ll have several ready for corruption rolls.
  
  It’s one of those slow-burn strategies that feels great when it pays off – and if you’re already mixing it with smart gear upgrades and keeping an eye on poe 2 currency, you’ll be way ahead of the curve.
