Overview
- He did possess a strong power rush, and when he actually used it, he was extremely effective Mut 24 coins in putting pressure on the quarterback. Of course, I wouldn't think the edge rusher who is smaller to have an aggressive bull rush as their signature move, but hell in the event that it is effective and it's effective, why not continue to do it? !
Harold did have a great arm-over maneuver, but also he wasn't likely to use it very often. When he did , it was likely to be able to beat an offensive lineman even if he failed to get to the quarterback before throwing the ball. I have no idea why he didn't utilize it more, considering how successful his successes were with that technique.
More often than not, Harold would just kind of be able to run into the left tackle, and then get stuck on his block in passing plays. It's possible that he could have ran a 4.9 as far as I'm concerned considering how rarely the team he played with the speed rush. What's the point of being a great athlete when you can't use your athleticism to play a pass rusher every once in awhile?
It was very frustrating to watch.
I'm just not thrilled that I did see Harold perform good moves at times because then I began to wonder why he didn't make use of them constantly. If he had he might've scored more sacks. He didn't, which is why it is possible that the fact that he "only" only had about 7.5 total sacks in the season. It's not a bad amount, however it certainly isn't the most impressive one.
Perhaps it would have helped If he hadn't missed so many tackles. He also missed several sacks. When it came to the Louisville game alone, in a game that he scored two sacks, the dude simply missed three more tackles. One resulted in another sack. In addition, the dude should be a good athlete but even when it's clear that he won't make the play?
It is a concern.
I'm still not even getting around to talking about Harold's inconsistency on the field. I'm willing to admit that every occasionally, he stepped from behind and pushed up the blocker and was able to make the play. In the majority of cases, the player was hit in the face or manhandled.
There's nothing to be happy about.
Harold also gave up the edge to a running defender on running plays a lot too many times in the five games, and that doesn't make sense. I know he's a little thin in the a$$ however, his blocking skills will be more effective at higher levels. Harold will have to figure out a way to fix that shit in no time. A bit of extra weight, a few squats, and improved technique is my recommendation, but buy madden 24 coins for the moment, I am imagining Harold trying to establish the advantage against Madden NFL 24 level offensive tackles and tight end is not an appealing sight.
