There are skills and the interwoven tapestries that link the different aspects of the game together, which let me go from creating runestones, to exploring dinosaurs. My personal favourite is Archaeology due to how it combines lore-based exploration with an excellent progression of skills.
  
  In the context of RuneScape stories, do not forget the quest lines. There I've encountered gothic terror along with epic fantasy and one man's dream of baking a cake. I'll never forget those hours which I spent at the Temple of Light, even as I'm sometimes wishing I could OSRS Gold For Sale.
