  Phantasy Star Online 2 seems alright. You get one free chance to modify your character's appearance, but this is it. The rest of the time, you may just switch from a limited selection of clothes and hair styles unless you pay money for loot boxes or earn enough celebrity gems to purchase it in the"Fresh Finds" shop. Gems can be gotten from narrative mode, the Season Pass (seasons are extremely short though), and out of grinding with fashion items that still possess a stone icon.
  
  PSO2 is an action RPG. But unlike its predecessors, there are just four individuals in a party, but twelve people can be at the exact same time in many regions. This makes it much easier to farm and get things done as progress is counted so long as you are within a range from the other people. This naturally opens the way for leeching up, but it is a problem. You're able to bring AI controlled characters with youpersonally, but they are pretty dumb and therefore are more or less just damage sponges if you can roll a lower threat generation from the drinks station.
  
  The differences between them are small, although the four races are split between female and male. Humans are individuals. Newmans are ears.
