The setup works because several reward systems overlap, and each one adds something useful to your POE 2 Currency income. Abyssal Troves can produce Craniums and other Ancient Bones, while rare monsters in the Abyssal Depths offer a chance at Omens of Light. With the right tablets, suitable Waystones, and a steady map pace, the strategy can turn ordinary endgame maps into a surprisingly productive farming route. Still, the results depend on market prices, clear speed, and how carefully you handle each encounter.

  Build the Map Around Two Reward Systems

  The key is to improve Troves and rare Abyss monsters at the same time. Item Rarity on your Waystones and Abyss Tablets affects the rewards found in Abyssal Troves, so it matters more here than many players expect. Craniums, Ribs, Jawbones, and Collar Bones all become more attractive targets when the map has strong Item Rarity. Monster Rarity serves a different purpose. It improves the value of the creatures inside the Abyssal Depths and gives you more chances to find enemies connected with Omen drops. A practical starting point is a six-modified T15 map. T16 maps are worth considering when you care about higher item-level bases, especially ilvl 82 drops, but T15 is often easier to sustain. If you're pushing the setup, look for corrupted maps with roughly 60% or more Monster Rarity and at least 40% Item Rarity.

  Tablets, Jado, and Cryptic Keys

  Two Abyss Tablets form the centre of the strategy. Use two copies of the modifier that makes Abyss Pits twice as likely to contain rewards. A third copy isn't useful because the effect doesn't stack. It's also worth adding the modifier that improves the chance of Desecrated Currency from Abysses, since that supports the Cranium and Ancient Bone side of the farm. Unforeseen Consequences can add more rare monsters and extra pits, while stronger Abyss monster effects help scale the encounter further. Jado fits the plan particularly well. Parcel Translations can increase explicit map and tablet modifiers, and Mysterious Gifts may provide Cryptic Keys from rare Strongbox monsters. Since Abyssal Troves work like Strongboxes, Trove Seekers can create more valuable openings. Save those keys for Troves rather than using them on Armories or Arsenals. Opening a good Trove twice is one of the simplest ways to raise your return.

  How to Handle Amanamu Lichborn Enemies

  Omens of Light require a little more patience. Amanamu Lichborn enemies can create a field of black fog, and killing them while they remain inside it may lead to Omen of the King instead. When one appears, don't immediately unload every skill. Let it leave the Abyss Pit, then pull it away from the fog before finishing the fight. It sounds minor, but this positioning choice can decide which reward enters the drop pool. The rest of the map should stay fast. Pick up the important loot, ignore low-value distractions, and move on. Delirium Tablets can be added if you want extra monster modifiers, Splinters, and Grand Mirrors, though they also make the map busier. There's also a reported Overrun interaction where some pits appear without reward chests when too many pits spawn. It doesn't ruin the strategy, but it means no single map should be treated as a perfect example of the farm.

  What the Test Suggests About Profit

  A reported 35-map run used about 33 Divines worth of maps and tablets. It produced 10 Omens of Light, 21 Abyssal Echoes, four Ancient Ribs, four Jawbones, six Craniums, and five Kulemak Invitations. The main items were valued at around 233 Divines, leaving close to 200 Divines after the stated setup costs. At ten maps per hour, the core return worked out to more than 57 Divines per hour. Those figures aren't a promise. Cranium prices were around 13 Divines during the test and had recently reached 18 to 20, so the market can shift the result quickly. Raw currency, preserved bones, Visions of Paradise, and several smaller drops were also left out of the main calculation. Keep a reserve of Cryptic Keys, reinvest in stronger maps and tablets, and judge the strategy over a large sample.
