Overview
DE Yetur Gross-Matos
It's not a secret that this is a crucial calendar year in YGM. The player must prove he can not only create plays, but remain on the field to do so. He's suffered from injuries during the first two years of his professional career, and yet coaches remain positive about his Mut 23 coins.
LB Shaq Thompson
Prior to the foot injury from last season Thompson was poised to break his single-season record of tackles, TFLs, sacks, QB hits, you can think of it. Thompson was a bit more aggressive last season after an up and down 2020 campaign. He's the voice that everyone is listening to.
LB Damien Wilson
The Panthers let Jermaine Carter go free agency and they brought in Damien Wilson to fill his job. I'm not sure whether Wilson is an improvement over Carter but he's got seven years of experience and 68 appearances with the team for what it's worth.
LB Frankie Luvu
This player is extremely destructive when he's playing. He'll probably split some time Cory Littleton but as the season progresses, Luvu will make more plays and, as a result will be the one to take the majority of snaps.
CB Donte Jackson
Donte enjoyed his best season during a contract year and was rewarded with a three-year, 35 million dollar contract. Some people believe that it's too expensive, but I believe it's close to the correct amount. He was great in pass coverage last year , but had his best year in run support.
CB Jaycee Horn
We saw some glimpses of Horn in 2021 before Horn went out for the year with a foot injury. In the 2.5 games his performance was unbeatable. Will he rise to the top in year two? The time will tell.
S Jeremy Chinn
Chinn has been an absolute blast watching over the past two seasons, however I believe there is another gear he can kick it into. Sticking at safety cheap madden 23 coins, working along with Steve Wilks, and having Xavier Woods back there with Chinn seems like a recipe for a great 2022.
