Overview
- After that came the seven-time Pro Bowl, three-time All-Pro Richard Seymour. Even the next pick, Andre Carter, made one Pro Bowl and has 78.5 career sacks.
The most significant criticism of Warren could be the shady company he keeps at the top of the draft, but it's just to reveal how terrible the Browns are at creating. He is sandwiched between six players who made it to the Pro Bowl. One thing which could be more problematic is that the Browns next pick, the wide receiver Quincy Morgan, is also located between six players that made a Pro Bowl. (Reggie Wayne, Todd Heap, Drew Brees, Kyle Vanden Bosch, Alge Crumpler, Chad Johnson.)
Brown, Warren, Couch and Morgan are only several examples of the reason the Browns have been so bad for the longest time. Poor talent evaluations that chose the wrong players. However, on the positive side, they did identify two players that could be included on this list.
Cleveland rocks!
Honorable Mention: Here is where we can put Leonard Davis. A pick in front of Warren, you don't exactly expect to land guards and that's what happened to Arizona Davis and Davis. Davis played for six years with the Cardinals changing around the line from right guard and a weak left tackle, and then he left for the Pro Bowl guard with the Cowboys. Davis will have an impressive career yet is just another wrinkle on the face of the Cardinals draft record.
8. Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville - 10th overall, Houston, 2007
I'd like to begin with a statement that says that Okoye's always been a special player. There are certain things that are always memorable to me on draft days lasting memories and make sure that I'll always follow certain players I have no actual attachments to And Okoye will always be among those players.
There was a lot of talk about the fact that Okoye 19 was set to be the youngest first-round selection ever. He chose Louisville when he was 15 He resisted Harvard to make the choice. He played in the college game when he reached the age of 16. He graduated before the age of 16. He was a second-team All-American at 19. He was a rock on his shoulders and was a top athlete for his age and the idea of what Okoye might become was overwhelming. But at a certain moment, do we get too excited about what a player could be in comparison to what he is? Is it possible that Okoye would have been better off in the third round , as developing a player to continue to play regularly at the age of 23 or 24 instead of when he's 20?
However, the Texans ignored his age and chose to sign in his place, while ignoring the players they selected, which consisted of Patrick Willis, Marshawn Lynch as well as Darrelle Revis. Can you imagine the Texans today with Willis and Revis?
One can observe that 2007. the draft, was rife by disappointments, including players drafted ahead of Okoye Levi Brown, Jamaal Anderson and Ted Ginn Jr, but Okoye is the one that stands out the most because of the fact that it was a major risk to draft teens into Madden NFL 24 that was early in the draft. Okoye played four seasons with Houston and has been a bench team member with the Bears in the last two years.
However, there is still the time to make Okoye improve his performance. After all, he is just 25!
Honorable An Honorable Mention: Six selections later, the Packers selected defensive lineman Justin Harrell out of Tennessee. He was a rookie recovering from Madden 24 coins a torn biceps tendon, then showed up OTAs overweight He played in seven games as a rookie. He started in 2008 with the PUP playing in six games in the year that he played in 2009. was absent all year and missed only one games in 2010. and was absent from the team with 14 games played and two games played. This is an Harrell of more than Green Bay expected.
7. Mike Williams, WR, USC 10th overall Detroit in 2005.
This is one of the least-controversial inclusions on this list, don't you think? There are too many aspects related to "WTF?" to forget it was Williams lost to the Lions at the 10th spot made mut 24 madden coins absolutly no sense.
The Lions had just taken Roy Williams at seventh overall the year before.
