Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's is an antibiotic medication primarily used to treat diarrhoea, dysentery and stomach infections. Dysentery is an intestinal infection generally lasting for three to seven days, causing severe diarrhoea with blood. Diarrhoea is a condition in which bowel movements are too frequent, leading to loose, watery stools. Acute diarrhoea is a common problem and generally lasts for one or two days, whereas chronic diarrhoea lasts four weeks.
Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's is a combination of two antibiotics, Norfloxacin and Tinidazole, primarily taken to treat diarrhoea, dysentery, and severe stomach infections. Norfloxacin helps by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and hence killing the bacteria. Tinidazole kills parasites that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Both of them help effectively treat the infection by killing the bacteria as they are bactericidal in nature.
Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's can be taken with or without food. For best results, take Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Like all medicines, Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Some side effects of Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's include nausea, dryness of mouth, stomach upset, headache. Most of these side effects of Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Do not take Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's if you are allergic to Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's, tinidazole, norfloxacin, or any of its ingredients as it can lead to abnormal neurological signs (such as dizziness, vertigo, difficulty in controlling movements). Norfloxacin present in Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's is known to cause tendon rupture, so be cautious while taking Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's. In patients having myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's should not be taken as it is known to worsen your condition further. Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Diarrhoea can cause dehydration, so please increase the intake of fluids. If you have constipation or have blood in stools, do not take Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's. Consumption of alcohol, along with Norflox-TZ RF Tablet 10's, can cause stomach irritation and increased drowsiness.

Directions for Use
Norflox-TZ RF Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.Syrup/Suspension/Drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.
