I made sure to check Turkish Airlines baggage allowance prior to packing for my latest trip, and it made a huge difference! I was flying economy class, so I could check in one piece of luggage up to 23 kg (50 pounds), which was perfect for my week-long vacation.

I was permitted to check in with one cabin bag, weighing no more than 8 kg (17 lbs), and my laptop bag as a personal item. Because to the clear policies, I was able to avoid any shocks at the airport.

I felt that business class passengers had a more generous allowance: two checked bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs). That was a really good decision if I had brought along more luggage. As a whole, being aware of the baggage rules made my experience with Turkish Airlines smooth and hassle-free!
