I’m new here and had a quick question about home insurance. I’m looking into getting a policy, but I’m a bit confused about what’s typically covered. For those of you with home insurance ontario, do most policies cover water damage from things like a burst pipe or flooding?

Also, are there common add-ons that you’d recommend, like extra coverage for valuable items? Any advice on what to look out for would be really helpful!
