What is your role in Bremont?
Hi, I am Malcolm, I am the manufacturing manager of the Bremont parts manufacturing plant. My job is to supervise the manufacture of many parts used to make our watches, including the bezel, case midsole and case back. My responsibilities also include overseeing the production of machines that are operated by our highly skilled engineers and technicians with extensive industry experience.
What is the typical day of Bremont for you?
Working for a growing company like Bremont, high quality replica watches, not one day, but I would say that on a typical day, I will ensure that the machine runs at peak efficiency and delivers the required output quality. As with any manufacturing industry, there are always ways to improve and improve processes and technologies, so I will also consider ways to do so. Some of our watches use professional finishing techniques such as DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon Coating) and hand-polished, and quality must be closely monitored.
What manufacturing experience have you brought to Bremont?
I have worked in manufacturing for 23 years. Ten years have been used in the aerospace industry and the remaining 13 years have been used in the motorsport industry, including F1. When working in these industries, I focus on machine operation, programming, and machining of highly complex parts. I am very fortunate to be able to work with some famous people in the racing world. I am very happy to bring this knowledge and experience to Bremont and help bring the watch industry back to the British coast.
What is the difference between making watch parts and racing parts?
Both industries are very similar because the machined parts are very precise and the tolerances between the parts are very strict. In motorsport, parts are based more on performance principles to make cars as fast as possible. Parts can vary between tracks depending on the performance specifications of a particular car. For watch parts, this is all about life and durability, which means parts need to be processed very consistently and are very demanding.BRM V12-44-GT-CDUK watch
