The team has indicated that it will be seeking to fix this issue

  • The launch of the brand new Burning Crusade expansion, World of warcraft TBC has been hit by a DDoS attack that has the potential to disrupt players' access to the game. This expansion was a hotly anticipated upgrade to wow classic tbc gold  WoW TBC for some time and nostalgic players have been wanting to go back to their adventures during the past in World of Warcraft. A few players have been looking forward to the increased difficulty that Burning Crusade will likely bring as well as the introduction of brand new Heroic Dungeons and a significant alteration to the metagame of the game with regards to World Buffs.

One interesting aspect of Burning Crusade has been the developer's philosophy of making "some modifications" to the experience and separating it from its 2007 release. This is in sharp contrast to the "No changes" idea of World of warcraft TBC itself that aimed to give players the same experience the original MMORPG as is possible to enhance nostalgia. Unfortunately, the current gaming standards as well as the availability of knowledge created a game that was much simpler than the fans had anticipated at the time of its launch and disappointed some players seeking a more challenging trip through the past. The more open-minded approach to design that Blizzard has adopted in Burning Crusade is likely to provide a more engaging and challenging experience.

However, some players might be waiting a little longer before finding out what these changes will be. Blizzard has made an announcement on the Warcraft Devs Twitter feed that the game was hit by a DDoS attack. It has been warned by the team that this attack could lead to higher latency and disconnections for those trying to enjoy the new expansion. The team has indicated that it will be seeking to fix this issue, however, at the time of post, no more information has been released.

DDoS attacks happen when someone attempts to stop an online system by inundating it with unnecessary calls and other tasks. They're unfortunately common in the online gaming world and in March, an upset fan successfully carried one of them through LittleBigPlanet's servers. The increase in traffic that usually follows a major release like Burning Crusade likely isn't helping WoW's servers perform any better, and will quite possibly result in increased difficulties for players.

I hope Blizzard can address these issues quickly and give its fans with wow tbc gold  the authentic World of Warcraft experience they've been longing for. Gaming communities are rife with hackers and cheaters, always looking for ways to make gaming experience more difficult for all players. For every one of these undesirable players who are captured, more are lurking under the bushes, waiting for their chance to be caught. It is yet to be determined how fast Blizzard can eliminate them out of World of Warcraft.
