Mehendi paste is derived from the powdered dried leaves of the henna plant to decorate the body. The leaves are sun-dried and then ground to a fine, Back Hand Mehndi Design moss-green powder. It is then mixed with enough water, lemon juice, and a few drops of eucalyptus oil to make a smooth paste. The paste is soaked overnight to infuse all the ingredients and then poured into a plastic cone for application.
