Higher studies for Indian students can be done by applying to the Universities that offer courses and admit international students once the students have finished their 12th standard. These are the US & Canada, Germany, and Australia. Further education students are required to pass standardised tests such as the SAT and ACT or language proficiency tests such as IELTS and TOEFL. Applying for scholarships, applying for a student visa, and writing a Personal Statement or Personal Statement of Purpose are mandatory.
