About Me
Hanoi’s top tourist attractions offer a window into Vietnam’s history, culture, and everyday life. Start at Hoan Kiem Lake, where locals gather for morning exercise, and cross the red bridge to Ngoc Son Temple. Wander through the Old Quarter to find traditional shops, lively markets, and small cafés serving egg coffee. At the Temple of Literature, explore peaceful courtyards that reflect Vietnam’s long tradition of learning. Visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long to discover layers of the capital’s history, then spend time at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the country’s diverse communities. End your day beside West Lake, where the lakeside setting of Tran Quoc Pagoda offers a quieter side of the city as daylight begins to fade.
