The City of Baltimore and Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young declared October 26 Gervonta “Tank” Davis Day following a parade Saturday up Pennsylvania Avenue to honor their hometown boxing hero.
The two-time super featherweight champion will seek to conquer another division and close out the year with a bang when he takes on former unified world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa for the WBA Lightweight Title live on SHOWTIME Saturday, December 28 from State Farm Arena in Atlanta
