In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Patrick Mahomes said that "The only record I have my eyes set on breaking, which would be new this year, is going 20-0." With the NFL's new 17-game schedule, 20-0 would mean an undefeated regular season capped off by a victory in the Super Bowl.
In the 2020 season, Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 14-2 record before ultimately falling to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. Brady famously came up just short of a perfect season with the New England Patriots in 2007, which is the closest any team has come to reaching Mahomes's lofty goal of 20-0.
Do you think Mahomes and the high-powered Chiefs can pull off a perfect season in 2021?
