Aaron Rodgers knows the Packers need him more than he needs them, and Nate Burleson predicts Rodgers won't show up in Green Bay until August.
The rift between Rodgers and Packers GM Brian Gutekunst is due in large part to Green Bay drafting Utah State quarterback in the first round in 2020, a premium pick Rodgers probably would've liked to see the team use on a receiver, offensive lineman or even on defense. Love never saw the field as a rookie while Rodgers had an MVP season, which ultimately ended at the hands of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship.
Rodgers may be frustrated with the Packers, but Nate Burleson points out that history is repeating itself in Green Bay. In 2005, it was Rodgers who was drafted in the first round pick as the replacement for a legendary quarterback in Brett Favre.
Will this be the final season for Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, or has he already played his last game in a Packers uniform? ????
