The NFL has announced that any team that is unable to play due to a COVID-19 outbreak among unvaccinated players will have to forfeit the game. This is in stark contrast to last season, when a vaccine was not yet readily available and several games had to be rescheduled. Commissioner Roger Goodell and the league are taking a strong stance by all but mandating its players to get vaccinated, in an effort to protect the league from being harmed both literally and financially.
However, the new policy is already being met with criticism from some players. Cardinals star receiver DeAndre Hopkins sent (and later deleted) a tweet saying the threat of him hurting his team because of his choice to not get vaccinated was making him "question his future" with the NFL.
What are your thoughts on the NFL's new policy on vaccines?
