Shohei Ohtani is clearly MLB's Most Valuable Player, and he should win that award unanimously. The Angels' two-way phenom is doing things baseball fans have NEVER seen before, not even in the heyday of Babe Ruth. Ohtani hit his Major League-leading 40th home run of the season on Wednesday–in the same game that he pitched eight innings of one-run ball to lower his ERA all the way down to 2.79. But with the Angels sitting at .500, it's a shame that we likely won't get to see Ohtani showcase his talents on baseball's biggest stage in the postseason.
