With regulation changes, there is a lot of room for interpretation.
Remember 2009? Well, the cars are going to have a different take on what aerodynamic packages will work best, so will we see different sidepods, different rear wing concepts, the list goes on.
That is the beauty of F1 in 2022, we can expect the unexpectated.
The teams are currently testing in Barcelona and we have seen a lot of changes so far with the new 2022 Regulations.
Teams will have six days in total to prepare for the 23-race season with entirely new cars for this season.
With completely new technical regulations, impacting the aerodynamics and tyres, it’s a complete unknown as to who will be on top at the first race next month.
Ahead of the test, all 10 teams have completed an initial shakedown - 100km of running on show tyres - to shake off any cobwebs before the more meaningful testing.
What are you most excited about in 2022?
