In this week’s Crash.net F1 podcast featuring legendary commentator Ben Edwards, we dissect the returning Australian Grand Prix, which was dominated by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
Leclerc cruised to his second victory of the season in Melbourne to move into a commanding position in the Formula 1 world championship, as main rival Max Verstappen suffered the latest setback to his title defence with his second retirement in three races.
The Monegasque totally controlled the race as he converted pole position into his fourth career victory to open up a 34-point advantage at the top of the drivers’ standings ahead of George Russell, who remarkably sits second despite Mercedes’ troubled start to the campaign.
