Anthony Simonsen wins the PBA Players Championship West Regional against unlikely five seeded Kris Koeltzow. Koeltzow ran through his first three matches in dominating fashion, almost bowling a 300 game in two of the three step ladder matches leading to the final match against Simonsen. Simonsen proved to be too much for Koeltzow and advanced to the PBA Players Championship tournament next month.
