Sandpipers’ Katie Grimes nabbed a meet record in the women’s 400-yard IM at the 2021 Speedo Winter Junior Championships - West
Grimes raced her way to a 4:00.66 for the victory en route to notching a meet mark as well. The 15-year-old also just missed Dagny Knutson’s 15-16 national age group record of 4:00.62 set in 2008.
