In the first of his back-to-back events on Night Three, Michael Andrew stole the show. With a 27.21 breaststroke lap, Andrew seized the victory over Nic Fink (27.55) and Ian Finnerty (27.71). Anton McKee narrowly conceded third with a time of 27.75, out-touching Andrew Wilson (27.89).
