Olympic champion Ryan Murphy touched first in the men’s event, going 1:56.27 to complete a backstroke sweep at the meet. Hugo Gonzalez (1:57.51) and Bryce Mefford (1:59.61) finished second and third respectively.
“That was good,” Murphy said of his meet. “It was a nice way to finish out the meet, so I’m definitely pleased with it.”
The men’s 100m Backstroke A Final saw Ryan Murphy complete the meet’s backstroke sweep with a 53.56 swim to touch first. The win gave Murphy his second backstroke sweep in his past three TYR Pro Swim Series competitions! Coleman Stewart and Kacper Stokowski finished second and third respectively.
