After an 18-month break, the Houston Open returns to the PGA TOUR with 500 FedExCup points available to the winner. Current FedExCup leader Sebastián Muñoz will play his fourth tournament in a row to start the 2019-20 season, competing against 2013 FedExCup champion Henrik Stenson and Cole Hammer, the No. 2-ranked amateur in the world.
