Led by LeBron James’ 36 PTS, 10 REB and 10 AST, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 131-122, in Game 5. Additionally for the Lakers, Anthony Davis tallied 43 PTS and 9 REB in the victory, while CJ McCollum paced the Trail Blazers with 36 PTS and 7 AST. The Lakers will now advance to the Western Conference Semifinals after closing out this best-of-seven series, 4-1. They will face the winner of the Houston Rockets-Oklahoma City Thunder series.
