Dominic Thiem (finally) won a Grand Slam this year. After making his third Grand Slam final at the Australian Open, the global COVID-19 pandemic shut down Dominic Thiem's season just as it seemed like he was on the cusp of something great.
But after winning 3 exhibitions during the unexpected time off, he was in full form to win his maiden Slam at the US Open in New York. And while he came up short at both Roland-Garros and the ATP Finals, his massive steps forward put him in contention to do it all again in 2021.
