Travis Scott might have the shoe of the summer. His latest collaboration with Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan 1 Fragment, is one of the most hyped sneaker releases of the year. But the timeless Nike SB Dunks have also made a resurgence this summer. Which shoe reigns supreme in 2021?
The debate between Ashley Nicole Moss and Jarrel Harris continues, but this time with a twist! Dakota London joins in to declare a winner on topics ranging from who is the NBA's biggest international star to the most stylish athletes and if there's ever an inappropriate time to wear sneakers.
Then, Ashley takes a trip out to California to catch up with Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III. Bagley was taken second overall in the 2018 NBA draft, which is shaping up to be one of the best classes in years. But as fellow 2018 draftees like Luka Doncic, Trae Young and Deandre Ayton thrive in the playoffs, Bagley is anxiously awaiting the chance to show the world what he can do on the big stage.
Bagley is one of the faces of Puma Basketball, a brand on the rise that boasts a roster also including LaMelo Ball, RJ Barrett and Skylar Diggins, to name a few. In addition to his talents on the court, Bagley can help Puma continue to grow with his music career. He cites artists like Drake, J. Cole and Lil Baby as inspirations.
And soon, Marvin might not be the only member of his family in the NBA. Younger brother Marcus Bagley recently made the decision to withdraw from the 2021 draft and return to Arizona State for his sophomore season. But Marvin says you'll see him in the pros before long.
