The field contains the top 70 players in the FedExCup standings from the 2022-23 PGA TOUR regular season. Leading the field at No. 1 in the FedExCup standings is Jon Rahm. He’s rested since his brilliant T2 finish at The Open Championship, which was his seventh top-three finish of 2023. His four victories on TOUR in 2023 (including the Masters) and a T-5 finish last year at TPC Southwind will make him extremely confident in his chances in Memphis this week.
