Minseop Kim led a 1-2 finish for the South Korean squad in the men’s 200 fly at the 2021 Toyota U.S. Open Championships.
Kim posted a winning time of 1:59.30, barely clearing his teammate Junheon Hwangbo’s second-place effort of 1:59.33.
Thomas Heilman raced his way to third in the event with a time of 1:59.87.
Florida’s Eric Friese continued the Gator streak of wins with a triumphant time in the men’s 100 fly at the 2021 Toyota U.S. Open Championships.
Friese held off young Thomas Heilman with a winning effort of 52.56. Heilman, meanwhile, set the 13-14 National Age Group record with a second-place swim of 53.27. Iago Moussalem Amaral closed out the podium with a third-place time of 53.59.
