Florida’s Eric Friese continued the Gator streak of wins with a triumphant time in the men’s 100 fly at the 2021 Toyota U.S. Open Championships. Friese held off young Thomas Heilman with a winning effort of 52.56. Heilman, meanwhile, set the 13-14 National Age Group record with a second-place swim of 53.27. Iago Moussalem Amaral closed out the podium with a third-place time of 53.59.
