Sarasota’s Michaela Mattes topped the women’s 1650-yard free at the 2021 Speedo Winter Junior Championships - East.
Mattes earned the victory in a time of 16:06.56, while Jersey Wahoo Maddie Waggoner touched second in 16:08.75. East Carolina’s Emma Hastings placed third overall in the timed final event with a 16:25.62.
