Sarasota’s Michaela Mattes controlled the women’s 500-yard free at the 2021 Speedo Winter Junior Championships - East. Mattes won the race by more than three seconds with a 4:42.06. Hannah Bellard of Club Wolverine earned second in 4:45.18 with Commonwealth’s Natalie Mannion taking third in 4:45.20.
