The Lakers made history in Game 6 winning the franchise’s 17th NBA title, tying the Boston Celtics for the NBA record. LA came out on a mission from the tip showing aggression on offense, shooting 48% from the field, and clamping down on the defensive end to build a 30-point lead before halftime. The margin would prove too great for the Miami Heat to recover and the Lakers went on to win 106-93 and become the 2020 NBA Champions. With the win, LeBron James secured his 4th NBA Title and Finals MVP trophy, averaging 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists throughout the series. This marks the first championship for Anthony Davis who put up a double-double in Game 6 with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
