Carmel Swim Club clipped the meet record in the women’s 400-yard medley relay at the 2021 Speedo Winter Junior Championships - East. Berit Berglund (52.09), Devon Kitchell (1:00.11), Alex Shackell (51.97) and Gretchen Lueking (49.71) clocked a time of 3:33.88 for the win. That swim also nipped the 2017 record of 3:33.93 set by Fort Collins Area Swim Team. Dynamo’s Rye Ulett (54.02), Ainsley Jones (1:01.69), Catie Choate (53.70) and Sophie Brison (50.12) took second in 3:39.53. TAC Titans’ Taylor Morris (54.41), Samantha Armand (1:01.40), Keelan Cotter (53.74) and Mere Whelehan (50.42) wound up third in 3:39.97.
