Harris English looks to become the first person to successfully defend his title at the tournament since Geoff Ogilvy in 2009 and 2010. World No. 2 Collin Morikawa has a chance to overtake Jon Rahm for the top spot in the Official World Golf Rankings but the Spaniard will be hoping to keep his accolade as he returns to action for the first time since the Fortinet Championship. Xander Schauffele, who won the event in 2019, is in the field thanks to his gold-medal performance in Tokyo Olympics last summer.
